Background
He has over twenty years of teaching experience, including at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA). He was the former Special Advisor to the Board of Trustees in 2017 at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. He was Vice-Chancellor of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh from 2011 to 2017. Mr. Rahman represented multiple boards in different organizations.
Achievements
Professor Imran Rahman is the Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the ULAB School of Business. He directs the university's worldwide relationships and heads two main research centers, the Center for Sustainable Development and the Center for Enterprise and Society. He has served as Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor,
and Dean, School of Business at ULAB since 2006. In fact, from 1984 through 2009, he taught at Dhaka University's Institute for Business Administration (IBA). He co-founded and ran a merchant bank in Dhaka.
