Background

Mr. Rahman has decades of experience in Financial consulting, Stock Exchange, Banks and Financial Institutions in four geographies. He was the former Managing Director of Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited and also the CEO of a foreign and local bank in Bangladesh. He is also known to have held Senior Management positions at Corporate Trade, SME and Retail Banking businesses. He was also the Executive Director of FinExcel and the Independent Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited. Mr. Rahman currently holds the title of being the Chief Executive Officer of A.K. Khan & Company Ltd.

According to a statement, Mr. KAM Majedur Rahman has recently joined AK Khan & Company Limited as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Rahman, a former banker with experience in strategic planning, business development, information technology, risk management, and capital market operations, has held

senior roles in banks in Bangladesh, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa. He was also the CEO and Managing Director of Premier Bank Limited and the managing director of the Dhaka Stock Exchange. He was previously the first Country Head of Bank Alfalah Limited, the Additional Managing Director of AB Bank Limited, and the Deputy Managing Director of IPDC Bangladesh Limited.
